Since establishing the practice in De Pere in 2006, Dr. Hansen has helped individuals and families from De Pere, Green Bay, and the surrounding communities improve their movement, comfort, and overall quality of life through natural chiropractic care.
Meet Dr. Steven Hansen
A Personal Experience That Inspired a Career
Dr. Hansen’s interest in chiropractic began after he experienced ongoing lower-back and hip pain while completing his pre-medical studies. After finding relief through chiropractic treatment, he became interested in the connection between the spine, nervous system, and overall health.
He earned his Bachelor of Science from Regents College and graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic in 1999. After working in Wausau and near Chicago, he moved with his family to De Pere and opened Back in Action Chiropractic Center in 2006.
With more than 27 years of experience, Dr. Hansen uses a variety of chiropractic techniques to care for infants, children, adults, and seniors.
A Patient-focused Approach
Dr. Hansen believes every patient deserves clear explanations and care tailored to their condition, comfort level, and health goals.
Rather than using the same approach for everyone, he creates personalized treatment plans designed to improve movement, reduce discomfort, and address the underlying cause of the problem whenever possible.
Outside the office, Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with his wife, Lacy, and their blended family of seven children. He is also a self-taught guitarist who performs at his church and with a local classic-rock cover band.
